A boy tries to go up to a height, leading by the ghost who is chosen by the God of Igo.
Hikaru Shindo, an elementary school student, found Go board in his grand father’s garage. In that moment, a ghost of Sai Fujiwara, a genius Igo player, slipped into Hikaru’s mind and Sai’s passion towards Igo leads Hikaru to Igo’s world.
Hikaru did not know anything about Igo and kept playing Igo just as he was told by Sai. Hikaru plays against a genius boy, Akira Toya, who was beaten by Hikaru completely. Akira got interested in Hikaru’s mysterious strength and chased after Sai. On the other hand, Hikaru gets attracted Igo by meeting Akira and get interested in Igo.
Hikaru and Akira are aware of each others and try to master a God move. This is a story of hot battles of boys playing Igo.
It was made into an animation and games which creates an Igo boom among children. It contributes an Igo’s restoration.
