A red hair Mayumi Sakura, who accidentally finds out that she has a natural super power. She was confused with her own power. It was her classmate, Kazuo Takahata, who gives a help to her.
She improves her power by consulting with Takahata. She thinks that she might be able to use her power to help other people and start doing so.
She tries to hide her power, yet it is difficult her to live as an ordinary girl. She tries her best to help people who shows up during her sleep and her class. Her father, an unsuccessful painter, her dog Kompoko and other family members are remarks in this story as well.
Animation becomes a big hit than its comic. This is one of rare stories featuring a girl among Fujiko’s comics. This also become a big hit on TV drama.
